We understand "altering" they American flag in this way can be a controversial topic and we are usually just as much of a stickler for proper flag etiquette as anyone. In our opinion, once you remove the red white and blue colors, it no longer meets the definition of the American flag anyway, nor is this one designed to be flown in that fashion. Instead, this is a mere symbol of the fifty states, thirteen colonies, and the fallen officers who were sworn to protect them. Our government has already accepted the trampling and burning of the flag as "freedom of speech", so we've decided to exercise our same rights, but in the name of something good.
